Who We Are, What We Do

The Public Engagement Program for the West Haymarket Arena Development is intended to solicit public input that will inform the final development product to be presented to the Lincoln City Council for approval. A group of citizens that care about Lincoln’s future are supporting the Community Discussions that will take place during the fall of 2008 and will gather input from Lincoln citizens regarding the site plan, economics and Integrated Development Plan being created by the West Haymarket Action Team.

The West Haymarket Action Team is a committee created by a joint effort of the City of Lincoln and Vision 2015 that now includes representatives from UN-L and Lincoln Traction Partners that calls for them to "further the quality development, vitality, and long term viability of West Haymarket and its environs. This is to be accomplished in part by cultivating, promoting, and putting in place sustainable private-public partnerships."
